We're starting the year with a fresh approach to the dining experience here at Vi at Highlands Ranch. Our team is carefully re-evaluating our menus and services to ensure that we're offering the highest quality meals, a diverse range of options, and an overall dining experience that brings residents together. We're incorporating feedback from our residents, exploring new culinary trends, and ensuring that every meal is a delightful and memorable one.
This ongoing re-imagining of our dining program also includes introducing more seasonal ingredients, creative dishes, and healthier options to cater to all tastes and dietary preferences. But it’s not just about food—it’s about creating an atmosphere that encourages connection. Dining is one of the best ways we come together, and we want every meal to feel like a special occasion. New Activities & Community Partnerships
Beyond food, we're committed to offering a range of activities that not only enrich the lives of our residents but also foster stronger connections within the broader community. This year, we’re partnering with different departments at Vi at Highlands Ranch, as well as local organizations, to create experiences that allow us to participate in and contribute to our vibrant neighborhood. These collaborations open up new avenues for us to connect with neighbors, promote wellness, and share fun moments together.
One of the most exciting new additions we’re thrilled to introduce is the Vi Iron Chef competition! This culinary battle is sure to become a staple of our activities calendar, combining friendly competition with creativity and, of course, delicious food.
The Vi Iron Chef Competition: A Culinary Showdown Like No Other
We’re not just rethinking food; we’re turning it into an event that engages and excites everyone involved! The Vi Iron Chef competition will be a thrilling challenge where our own Assistant Director of Dining, Brenda Leisure, will go head-to-head against our talented chefs. What makes this competition even more exciting is the special ingredient they’ll have to work with: Girl Scout’s Cookies! Yes, you read that right—cookies will be the twist in this culinary battle!
A big thank you to everyone who joined us for the thrilling Vi Iron Chef competition on February 18th, 2025, at Mount Rosa Restaurant! The energy was incredible, and the contestants brought their A-game to battle for the coveted title. We were thrilled to see so many residents and local community members come together for this fun and flavorful event.
A huge congratulations to Chef Alberto, our first-ever Vi Iron Chef! Your creativity and culinary skills blew us all away! We also want to extend a special thank you to Brenda for making this amazing, fun-filled opportunity possible, and for collaborating with us to make this event unforgettable.
And let’s not forget Yo, whose incredible dessert truly added a sweet touch to the competition. Your contribution was a highlight!
